Join AUSU's Working Group to Support Student Publications

Are you passionate about supporting student creativity and voices? The Algoma University Students’ Union (AUSU) is calling for volunteers to join their Working Group in 2024 to help support student publications such as The Sentient zine and AURA Podcast.

AUSU is dedicated to enhancing the university experience for students by providing services that cater to their needs, well-being, and opportunities. As part of their initiatives, The Sentient zine offers a platform for students to showcase their creativity through writing, art, and photography. The zine is a collaborative effort involving administrative staff, a student editor, volunteers, and student artists. Similarly, AURA Podcast is another avenue for students to share their stories and perspectives through a series of episodes released each term. Led by the Communications and Marketing Lead and a student podcast developer, the podcast features segments like a message from, tea time, and skill shares. By joining AUSU's Working Group, volunteers will have the opportunity to contribute their time and skills towards the success of The Sentient and AURA Podcast. The goal for the upcoming year is to provide a captivating and entertaining platform for student voices to be heard and enjoyed by the university community.
